I'm just getting back into D&D after many years off. I found my old version 3 players handbook and my DM Guide that turned out to be 3.5. So I got on e-bay and bought a 3.5 Players Handbook and 3.5 Monster Manual so that I'd have a complete matching set. The I realized that my Version 3 Players Handbook came with the charicter generater CD and the 3.5 did not. Bummer! Is there that big of a difference? How much difference will it make if I use my Version 3 Players Handbook with the charicter generator along with my 3.5 DM Guide and Monster Manual?
