I remember when this was on air. I saw about one episode then it was off air. On You Tube, I watched the cartoon introduction. I thought about how I still have an interest in D&D but it seemed geared for young people. I laughed when the Dungeon Master created a bow out of thin air and gave it to someone real quick.
I guess to distinguish, things went Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, for the big kids, adults, venerable wizards and so on.

Re: Dungeons and Dragons cartoon
Wed, August 19, 2009 - 8:38 AMI was dissapointed in the cartoon, and even more so in the movie. It was just a freakin' joke- I had hoped it would be more along the lines of Conan the Barbarian and such, ( which was outstanding, imho) but no, it was cheesy and lame. It sucked huge donkey balls.

Wed, August 26, 2009 - 9:37 AMI should say that it is in the level of quaility that you can get out of the SciFi channel -- and a bit more. It seems to be indeed a labor of love with the creators.
It is out on DVD for the time being; a friend of mine got me one:
